1. Who provides the service

Logbookly is provided by Pablo Asensio Martínez, Spanish tax ID (NIF) 06010425L, Travesía de Téllez 1, 28007 Madrid, Spain, [email protected]. More details in the legal notice. By creating an account you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

2. The service

Logbookly is a digital flight logbook: you record your flights, the app works out totals and reminders, and keeps them in your account so they sync and are backed up. You need an account (email, Sign in with Apple or Google) and must be at least 14 years old, or the higher minimum age set by the law of your country.

3. Logbookly and aviation authorities

Logbookly is not affiliated with, endorsed or approved by EASA, AESA or any aviation authority. It follows the AMC1 FCL.050 logbook format, but whether a digital logbook is accepted is up to your competent authority. You are responsible for the accuracy of your entries and for meeting your obligations as a pilot; keep your paper logbook until you have confirmed this, and keep your own copies (PDF, CSV or backup file).

Automatic calculations (night, totals, recency, revalidation) and AI reading are an aid: always review them before signing.

4. Free and Premium

Free, always: unlimited manual flight entry and editing, converting local times to UTC, cloud sync and backup, totals for your whole logbook, consistency checks, recency and expiry reminders, the pilot and aircraft directories, the route map, importing another logbook app's CSV export or your roster calendar when we recognise its format, the PDF report and CSV export of your complete logbook and the backup file, the block-to-block total, and 3 pages of AI scanning in total.

Premium (subscription) adds: unlimited AI scanning (capped at 50 pages a day to prevent abuse), AI import of a CSV whose columns we do not recognise, automatic calculations while logging (night from civil twilight, day and night landings, splitting hours by role and operation, repeating and duplicating flights), filters and sums of the flights you pick (also in filtered PDF or CSV exports), custom Home counters, and logging the flight in progress from the Lock Screen.

If you stop paying, you keep every flight and everything that is free.

5. Subscription, billing and cancellation

  • There is a monthly and an annual plan. The price, including taxes, is shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy.
  • Apple charges it to your Apple ID, under its purchase terms.
  • It renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. You can cancel any time in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions; it stays active until the end of the paid period.
  • If the price changes, Apple tells you in advance and, where required, asks you to confirm.
  • Right of withdrawal (EU): as a consumer you can withdraw within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. Purchases are handled by Apple: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides and processes refunds under its terms and the law.

6. Your data and content

Your flights are yours. We only process them to provide the service, as the privacy policy explains. If you record other people's data (the PIC's or instructor's name and licence), do so only to keep your logbook.

When you scan, the photos are sent to Google (Gemini) to be read. We do not keep them; Google may use them to improve its products, as the privacy policy explains. The result may contain errors: review every field before saving.

7. Acceptable use and illegal content

Do not use Logbookly for unlawful purposes, do not try to breach its security or other users', and do not upload illegal content. You can report illegal content by writing to [email protected]: we will confirm receipt and tell you what we decide. If an account seriously breaches these terms, we may remove the content or suspend it, giving our reasons and a chance to respond.

8. Availability

We work to keep the service running, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or third-party failures. The app also keeps your flights on your phone, and you can export copies whenever you like.

9. Liability

We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for personal injury, and wherever the law does not allow liability to be limited. Outside those cases, we are not liable for indirect damage or for the consequences of entries or calculations you did not review. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Leaving

You can delete your account and all your data at any time in the app (Settings → Account). Deleting your account does not cancel your Apple subscription: cancel it in your Apple ID settings too.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change them in a meaningful way, we will tell you in the app at least 15 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can leave before they apply.

12. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the laws of your country of residence and can go to the courts where you live.

13. Contact
